Music-based documentary partially filmed in Detroit telling the personal stories of three generations of electric guitar virtuosos: The Edge from U2, Jimmy Page from Led Zeppelin, and Jack White from The White Stripes. The acclaimed film reveals how each musician developed his unique sound and style of playing favorite instruments, guitars both found and invented. Concentrating on the artists’ musical rebellion, traveling with them to influential locations, provoking rare discussion as to how and why they write and play, this film allows the audience to witness intimate moments and hear new music from each artist. The movie centers on a day when all three first meet and sit down together to share their stories, teach and play.
