The arts have always provided opportunities to explore just where human society might be going. From fantastic new technologies to bleak dystopias, film often presents our possible tomorrows in uniquely powerful ways. Over the decades, movies such as Metropolis to Logan’s Run to Back to the Future Part II to Children of Men have shown us the future, and we’ll be looking at the films that have tried to tell us where we’re going with varying degrees of success!
